In accordance with the Measures for the Administration of Scholarships for International and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Students of Tourism College of Zhejiang, the selection for the 2023-2024 Academic Year First Semester Outstanding International Students Scholarship Program is hereby launched. Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Scholarship Categories and Standards

(1) The Belt and Road Special Scholarship

This scholarship is specially established for outstanding international students from countries along the Belt and Road in the first semester of the 2023–2024 academic year. The award standards are as follows:

(2) TCZJ Academic Scholarship

This scholarship is open to all international students enrolled at TCZJ in the first semester of the 2023–2024 academic year. The criteria are as follows:

(3) Talent Scholarship

International students in China who have won awards or delivered outstanding performances in various competitions, cultural and sports activities organized both on and off campus may apply for this scholarship.

II. Application Requirements

(1) Eligibility for the Belt and Road Special Scholarship

1. Applicants shall hold foreign nationality with a valid foreign passport, valid visa and residence permit in China, maintain a friendly attitude toward China, and be in good physical and mental health.

2. Applicants shall abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese Government as well as all rules and regulations of the College, uphold integrity and good moral conduct, and shall not have any of the following circumstances:

(1) Failure to pay tuition fees and accommodation fees without valid reasons;

(2) Receipt of academic probation or dismissal warning.

3. Applicants must be citizens of countries along the Belt and Road.

(2) Eligibility for TCZJ Academic Scholarship

1. Applicants shall hold foreign nationality with a valid foreign passport and valid visa, maintain a friendly attitude toward China, and be in good physical and mental health.

2. Class attendance rate shall be no less than 85%, with no unexcused absence, late arrival or early departure.

3. The comprehensive evaluation results of international students shall be taken into consideration.

III. Application Procedures

1. Individual submission of application forms shall be completed by October 9.

2. Review by the evaluation panel: October 10 to October 16.

3. Institutional publicity of the shortlisted candidates: October 17 to October 24.

IV. Application Documents

1. Application Form;

2. Photocopy of passport;

3. All the above documents shall be submitted in two copies.
