On March 29, 5 foreign teachers and student representatives from Canada and South Korea were invited to attend the 32nd "Meeting with the School President" activity, in which they met with the school president Ms. Du Lanxiao and vice president Ms. Wang Fang. Participants of this activity also included staff from the Department of International Education, School of Culinary Arts, School of Business Administration and Studio for National Conditions Education.

During the meeting, Ms. Du Lanxiao asked the teachers and students about their work, study and life in the college. She expressed her gratitude to them for their contributions to the internationalization of the school and cultural exchanges. She said that foreign teachers are an irreplaceable part of the faculty. They added dynamics to the teaching, contributed to the promotion of the school and cross culture communication. She extended her warm welcome to the two international students returning to school and encouraged them to learn and experience, participate in traditional Chinese cultural activities, and let the world know what they saw and experienced in China. She also discussed with them about their opinions and advice concerning teaching and school management.

At the end of the meeting, a special food taste event was organized by the Department of International Education, the School of Culinary Arts and the above mentioned studio, in which the tradition of the Tomb Sweeping Day in China was introduced. Mr. Du also invited foreign teachers and students to make and taste the special rice cake for this tradition.
