On April 1, a delegation of 51 senior officials and experts from the Office of Vocational Education Commission (OVEC) of Education Ministry of Thailand visited Tourism College of Zhejiang (TCZJ).

From March 12th to 14th, Sino-Serbian Tourism College of “Serbian Luban Workshop” was officially opened, which is one of the Cross-border Colleges of TCZJ. A total of 4 classes will be organized during the term, which will carry out the teaching of "Chinese + Chinese Cuisine" for 3 months.

From February 25 to March 9, the students of the Chinese & Culture Camp of Toyo Gakuen University of Japan conducted their study at Tourism College of Zhejiang.

On March 6, the meeting between teachers and students was held in the Chinese Culture Experience Center.

“China, Yan Han, Gold medal ..."On February 5, 2024, there were thunderous cheers in the award hall of the 26th IKA Culinary Olympics held in Stuttgart, Germany. Top culinary masters from the world gave the applause to Yan Han, a teacher of Tourism College of Zhejiang in China.

On November 22, the award ceremony of the 2023 “Picturesque Zhejiang” Storytelling Contest for Foreigners was successfully concluded in Hangzhou.

On the afternoon of December 25th, the ceremony was held in the Cross-Cultural Communication Training Room of TCZJ.

On November 2nd, the Visionary Planning Meeting Between William Angliss Institute and Tourism College of Zhejiang was successfully held at our school.

On November 4, Mr. Tong Haiyang, the major director of tour guide, the school of Travel Service and Management, a foreign teacher representative, and 20 foreign students from Russia, Vietnam and South Korea visited Yucun of Anji.

On October 27, a foreign teacher representative and 20 new international students from Sino-Russian Tourism College, a cross-border education institution of TCZJ, visited Qiandao Lake Campus for exchange.

On October 18, TCZJ held a class opening ceremony for 2023 freshmen of Sino-Russian Tourism College. Vice President Wang Fang, Dean of the School of International Education Huang Hui, Dean of the School of Travel Service and ManagementWei Xiaoliang, Vice dean of the School of Tourism and Foreign Languages Li Xiaohong and other relevant personnel attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Gao Angzhi, vice dean of the School of Tourism and Foreign Languages.

On July 6, our Korean students Kim Saeyan from Class 3 Grade 2 majored in Cooking and Jeon Minji from Class 2 Grade 1 majored in Marketing visited Kyongil High School of Tourism and Business Management, their alma mater, to hold an information meeting on studying in China.

On March 29, 5 foreign teachers and student representatives from Canada and South Korea were invited to attend the 32nd "Meeting with the School President" activity, in which they met with the school president Ms. Du Lanxiao and vice president Ms. Wang Fang. Participants of this activity also included staff from the Department of International Education, School of Culinary Arts, School of Business Administration and Studio for National Conditions Education.

On April 10, 2023, the 2022 “Chinese Bridge” Storytelling Contest Award Ceremony was held in Hangzhou after three rounds of competitions. Contestants, instructors, and experts from all over the world participated in the ceremony on-site and the ceremony in the metaverse. TCZJ won the "Best Organization Award", while the work named Boundless Sea and Sky by foreign teacher Mr. Fodil won the Best Performance Award. Ms. Zhong Wen from the Department of International Education won the Best Instructor Award.

As the new semester starts, the school sees the return of our Chinese students and two of our international students from South Korea.
International students have been stranded in their home countries for three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, making the offline learning and face-to-face communication impossible. However, our care and concerns for international students have never been affected. To ensure the learning effectiveness and teaching quality, the college made every effort to guide and help them study online via live streaming teaching and recorded lectures during the pandemic.

At 17:30 on November 2, Beijing time (12:30 local time in Russia), Tourism College of Zhejiang and Russian State University of Tourism and Service celebrated the fifth anniversary of the founding of the Sino-Russian Tourism Institute and the opening ceremony for the Class 2025 online. President of the college Ms. Du Lanxiao and her Russian counterpart Mr. Alexander Fedulin attended the event. Participants also included officials, faculty and students from both sides.

On November 16, Tourism College of Zhejiang (TCZJ) and the Shanghai Representative Office of the Italian Foreign Trade Commission jointly organized the signing ceremony of the Italian Culinary Education Cooperation Program and the Italian Culinary Education Workshop in Hangzhou. On the same day, the Italian delegation led by Mr. Augusto Di Giacinto, chief representative of the Shanghai Representative Office of the Italian Foreign Trade Commission, also met with the faculty and students led by Ms. Wang Fang, vice president of TCZJ.

On the morning of December 14, the closing ceremony of 2022 Zhejiang International Cultural Exchange Event hosted by the Information Office of the People's Government of Zhejiang and the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism was held in Hangzhou Liangzhu National Archaeological Site Park. Representatives of Zhejiang International Humanities Exchange Center and representatives of foreigners in Zhejiang participated in this event that showcased the achievements of international humanities exchange in Zhejiang. At the ceremony, Joo Hanna from the college was honored as the Friendship Ambassador of Zhejiang and awarded a prize together with other 3 prizewinners.
