On September 29, the opening ceremony for the Class of 2025 was grandly held at Xu Xiake Square, Tourism College of Zhejiang. TCZJ Party and administrative leaders, along with 4,804 new students and 107 international students from 12 countries, attended the ceremony, presided over by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of TCZJ, Li Xiangsheng.

The ceremony commenced with the majestic national anthem. School leaders solemnly pinned the university badge on representatives of the Class of 2025, officially marking their entry into the "TCZJ family".

President Du Lanxiao delivered a speech titled “Set Your Aspirations on Endeavor, Embrace the Journey of Culture and Tourism”. She encouraged the freshmen through "Three Understandings": Understand the Times, clarifying the responsibility of the cultural and tourism industry as a strategic pillar and well-being industry; Understand the Choice, recognizing TCZJ's advantages as a benchmark in vocational education and a hub of resources; and Understand the Future, hoping students uphold the university motto "Aspiration, Integrity, Compassion, Excellence", practice the "Four Focuses" requirement, and embark on their culture and tourism journey.

Deans from various secondary schools then took turns addressing the freshmen, encouraging them to delve deeply into their majors and let their youth blossom at TCZJ. Representatives from the new students, senior students, outstanding alumni, and faculty also spoke, sharing diverse "TCZJ Voices".

The ceremony also featured the second "The Art of Chinese Service --- Excellence in Skills" exhibition, where masters, award-winning contestants, and alumni showcased their professional prowess and the cultural connotation of "Chinese Service".
