Recently, our college held an opening ceremony for the first batch of "Going Global with Enterprises" degree-seeking international students in China. Eleven students from three vocational colleges in Thailand officially began their studies in the Hotel Management and Digital Operation program at our college. The ceremony was attended by President Du Lanxiao, Thai representatives including Mr. Weera Thongprasit, Director of the Central Region 4 Vocational Education Center, and Dr. Wittaya Katechoo, Director of Phuket Vocational College, as well as Mr. Yuan Fuguo, HR General Manager of Songcheng Performance Group.

In her address, President Du Lanxiao encouraged the international students to become "skill integrators" by combining the strengths of Chinese and Thai expertise during their professional studies; "friendship weavers" by learning Chinese well and building extensive friendships with Chinese peers; and "two-way cultural ambassadors" by both sharing Thailand's "Charming Smiles" culture in China and bringing their Chinese experiences back to Thailand.

The Thai institutional representatives stated that China remains one of the most desired study destinations for Thai students and expressed hope for establishing long-term, stable cooperation with our college. Mr. Yuan Fuguo announced that these students will undertake internships at Songcheng Group during the summer vacation, marking the group's first collaboration with our university in cultivating overseas talent and representing a new practice in international industry-education integration.

Following the ceremony, the orientation education for the international students was organized to help them smoothly begin their eight-month study journey in China.
