On November 4, Mr. Tong Haiyang, the major director of tour guide, the school of Travel Service and Management, a foreign teacher representative, and 20 foreign students from Russia, Vietnam and South Korea visited Yucun of Anji.

From the photos on display, students can see that Yucun was polluted by the "lime mill", the vegetation was destroyed,dust filled the air and streams were muddy. In 2001, Yucun established the strategy of "Relying on ecology to develop the economy" and realized the transformation from "stone economy" to "green economy". Today, in Yucun cropland has changed into park, farmhouse into guest room, villager into shareholder, resource into asset, clear water and green mountains into “mountains of gold and silver”, and has even been awarded as "the most beautiful village in China" by the UNWTO. The overseas students expressed their admiration for the fruitful achievements in the construction of beautiful countryside, and expressed their understanding and recognition of the ecological significance and economic value behind “Clear waters and green mountains are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver”.
