The Graduation Ceremony for 2023 International Students of TCZJ Was Successfully Held

On the afternoon of December 25th, the ceremony was held in the Cross-Cultural Communication Training Room of TCZJ. Wang Fang,  member of the Party Committee and vice president, Huang Hui, dean of the School of International Education, Wei Xiaoliang, dean of the School of Travel Service and Management, Gao Angzhi, vice dean of the School of Tourism and Foreign Languages, along with other relevant personnel attended this closing event. The ceremony was presided over by Huang Hui.

Wang Fang congratulated the students on their successful completion of their studies. She emphasized that during the three months, they have acquired knowledge in Tourism Chinese and gained insights into China through "Classroom for Understanding China". She expressed her hope that upon returning to their hometowns they would effectively share their experiences in China; promoting an authentic image while becoming ambassadors fostering friendship between both countries and facilitating cultural exchanges.

On behalf of all international students present at this event Kozlova Liliia from Russia expressed her sincere gratitude towards to TCZJ. She pledged to bring back what she has seen heard and learned in China to her homeland so as to enable more people to understand a real comprehensive view about China.

During the ceremony, certificates were also awarded to those students who excelled in various international competitions such as: the 3rd "Silk Road Artisans" International Skills Competition; the 9th Chinese Tea Wonderful Game; and finally the 2023 "Picturesque Zhejiang" Storytelling Contest for foreigners. It is worth mentioning that Nebesnaia Ekaterina emerged victorious in this year's "Picturesque Zhejiang" Storytelling Contest for foreigners.

In addition, the students also prepared wonderful performances. Three student representatives from Russia and South Korea performed excerpts from Journey to the West. Their vivid performance won cheers and applause. All the international students sang the song Tomorrow will Be Better in Chinese, and the beautiful song conveyed the two-way blessing between them and the school.

The 2023 International Students in China Alumni Association  establishment ceremony was also held during the activity.
