On October 18, TCZJ held a class opening ceremony for 2023 freshmen of Sino-Russian Tourism College. Vice President Wang Fang, Dean of the School of International Education Huang Hui, Dean of the School of Travel Service and ManagementWei Xiaoliang, Vice dean of the School of Tourism and Foreign Languages Li Xiaohong and other relevant personnel attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Gao Angzhi, vice dean of the School of Tourism and Foreign Languages.

On July 6, our Korean students Kim Saeyan from Class 3 Grade 2 majored in Cooking and Jeon Minji from Class 2 Grade 1 majored in Marketing visited Kyongil High School of Tourism and Business Management, their alma mater, to hold an information meeting on studying in China.

On March 29, 5 foreign teachers and student representatives from Canada and South Korea were invited to attend the 32nd "Meeting with the School President" activity, in which they met with the school president Ms. Du Lanxiao and vice president Ms. Wang Fang. Participants of this activity also included staff from the Department of International Education, School of Culinary Arts, School of Business Administration and Studio for National Conditions Education.

On April 10, 2023, the 2022 “Chinese Bridge” Storytelling Contest Award Ceremony was held in Hangzhou after three rounds of competitions. Contestants, instructors, and experts from all over the world participated in the ceremony on-site and the ceremony in the metaverse. TCZJ won the "Best Organization Award", while the work named Boundless Sea and Sky by foreign teacher Mr. Fodil won the Best Performance Award. Ms. Zhong Wen from the Department of International Education won the Best Instructor Award.
