From February 25 to March 9, the students of the Chinese & Culture Camp of Toyo Gakuen University of Japan conducted their study at Tourism College of Zhejiang.
The two-week activity mainly includes oral Chinese and listening study, cultural lectures, Japanese classroom observation, Chinese martial arts, Chinese tea art and Chinese cooking experience, as well as West Lake scenic spot tour, and Shanghai city sightseeing.
It focuses on helping Japanese students learn Chinese and Chinese culture, and understand the customs of Shanghai and Hangzhou cities.
At the graduation ceremony, Huang Hui, dean of the School of International Education, reviewed the history of exchanges and cooperation between the two schools, and hoped that the youth of the two colleges would maintain contact, take positive actions, enhance mutual understanding, and make contributions to deepening the bilateral relations.
During the school period, the students of the camp and the students majored in Japenese of the School of Tourism and Foreign Languages held rich exchange activities. At the exchange meeting, the students of the two countries had friendly and enthusiastic exchanges through self-introduction, ice-breaking activities and games. From March 3 to March 4, the research camp visited Qiandaohu Campus.
