From March 12th to 14th, Sino-Serbian Tourism College of “Serbian Luban Workshop” was officially opened, which is one of the Cross-border Colleges of TCZJ. A total of 4 classes will be organized during the term, which will carry out the teaching of "Chinese + Chinese Cuisine" for 3 months.
For the students majored in culinary arts and nutrition, Sino-Serbian Tourism College has set up the course "A Taste of China - Making Chinese Dishes", in which the teacher will teach the making methods of 4 cold dishes, 8 hot dishes, 1 soup and 2 dim sum, and finally present a complete Chinese banquet design and production. For the majors of hotel management, catering service, culinary arts and nutrition, Sino-Serbian Tourism College offers the course of Tourism Chinese, which mainly teaches basic knowledge of Chinese, tourism service and Chinese culture, etc. At the same time, Sino-Serbian Tourism College plans to carry out activities such as “Chinese culinary arts” training, teacher-student exchange and Chinese cuisine exhibition to promote the exchanges between China and Serbia and serve the the development of the “Belt and Road”.
It is reported that this year is the first time that Sino-Serbian Tourism College has restarted offline teaching after the COVID-19 pandemic. With the active assistance of Belgrade Institute of Technology, a cooperative college of the Serbian side, the enrollment of the new semester is good, with a total of 66 students, doubling over the previous term and reaching an all-time high.
