Recently, the competitions of each track of the 2024 World Vocational College Skills Competition Finals Scramble (International Group) came to an end. As an invited school, our college participated in the competition as a joint team with Belgrade Institute of Applied Technology, Serbia, and competed fiercely with representatives of higher vocational colleges and universities from all over the world.

Under the guidance of Prof. Đorđe Stojanović and Ms. Du Jinling, majoring in Hotel Management and Digital Operation, Petrović Ognjen, Đorđević Bogdan, Rašić Lazar and Frlog Filip, the multinational team composed of four Serbian students participated in the competition by virtue of their project Food and Drink Pairing - Drunken Beauty. With the project “Food and Drink Pairing - Beautiful Serbia”, the multinational team of four Serbian students won the Silver Prize in the Tourism Track by presenting the feast of “Wine + Culture + Service” in Serbia.

In order to cope with the change of the new rules, the instructors and team members made concerted efforts to study the rules in depth, compare the old and new rules to find the differences, the competition team overcame the obstacles of cross-country cooperation and the tight time for preparation, etc. They carefully studied the competition regulations, communicated with each other and integrated resources, and finally won the good results with their excellent performance.

It is reported that Belgrade Institute of Applied Technology in Serbia is our school's overseas school cooperation, and the international students who participated in this competition are from the Sino-Serbian Tourism Institute jointly established by the two schools. This year's Skills Competition set up an international group for the first time, attracting 413 teams consisting of 1,279 participants from 73 countries and regions in six continents, including Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Oceania, to take part in the competition on 36 tracks. Through this competition, it further strengthened the cooperation between our university and Belgrade Institute of Applied Technology of Serbia, and also showed the professional style of the students of China-Serbia Tourism College.
